Task: Epic and understanding of words

• Spend at least 30 minutes reading on Epic. I have assigned three additional books but you are welcome to read what you wish:
  • 125 True Stories of Amazing Pets
  • Chemistry in the Kitchen
  • Countdown: 2979 Days to the Moon
• Select a chapter from one of the texts a click on any words which you don't understand.
• Using the sentence, have a go at predicting what the word could mean.
• Then check the meaning of the word in a dictionary or online.
• Write the definitions to at least ten words.
• Then write each word in another sentence.
