I hope everyone is having a super week.  If you follow the link to Oak National Academy, there is an assembly on Resilience by former England captain Stuart Pearce, who talks about the highs and low of his international football career. There is also a special message from WWE World Champion, Drew McIntyre and Childline.

English

Spellings: Choose from one of the activities uploaded on Monday then spend 10 - 15 minutes revising your spellings.

Today, look through my WAGOLL - Letter to Michiya.  Use the checklist to find all the features.  Have I missed any out? If so, where could I add them?

Use your planning sheet to plan for the final paragraph of the letter.

Art

As we completed our artwork based on Hokusai last week, I thought you could now have a go at creating a beach scene in your own style, using a media of your choice.  Have a look through the art PowerPoint to give you some ideas.  On the final page, you will see links to YouTube.  These clips show you how to create beach scenes effectively.  Most of the clips show the art being created with oil pastels but don't worry if you don't have these.  You can create a nice piece just using pencil crayons. Make sure you ask an adult if it's ok to open the links first!
