Good morning, Year 5. I can never believe it when it comes to Friday. The weeks seem to be whizzing by!
This week, I have received lots of sentences/paragraphs advertising Kensuke's Island. They have been so good - with cliff-edge hot-tubs and golden beaches lined with palm trees - that i have been taken there in my head! (There's no harm in dreaming is there!) So well done everyone and thanks if you have been able to send your work in.

LO: To master the skills of drawing lines and angles
Use the PowerPoint to recap on measuring and drawing angles. After, have a go at the maths activity and check your answers where possible. For the questions which require you to draw the angle, ask someone at home if they can check for you.
English
Now it's time to add details about different activities you can do on Kensuke's Island. Check out the PowerPoint for ideas. After, look at the activity sheet which contains a WAGOLL for this section. Choose 3-4 activities (either the ones from the PowerPoint or your own) and use those persuasive techniques to really draw your reader in.
Humanities (Mrs Harris)
Carrying on with our work on volcanoes, today we are going to look at the different types of volcanoes and where they can be found. You're also asked to think about whether you'd like to live near one.
