Friday 27th March
It's Friday!
We know this has been a very strange week. What superstars you are. We hope that you, and the grown-ups looking after you are all ok. Are you remembering to do what your grown-up asks? Can you do something to help around the house like make your bed or tidy away your toys?
Mrs Griffin has a fun song for you to start your day with all about the animal fair. Click on the link below to join in.

Phonics
Phonics Play are offering free access to their site at the moment. The game below is perfect for your child to practise reading simple words. A mixture of real and nonsense words come on the screen. The real words are dragged to Bob and the nonsense (made up) words to Obb.
If you choose phase 3 we are in process of learning phase 3 sounds at the moment. Read Write Inc teaches 'ay' first then 'ai' and then the split digraph 'a_e' later on. Other schemes teach 'ai' first then 'ay' later. Just check if choosing phase 3 that it matches the sounds we have done. (ay,ee,igh,ow,oo as in 'look' and in 'good',ar,or,ir,air,ou,oy). Please email to ask me if you are not sure.

The Gingerbread Man - dice game
Attached below is a game for you to play. All you need is a dice. If you don't have one you can use an online dice. (Just click the link below. You need to pause the clip when you want the dice to stop.)

If you can't print the game out don't worry you can just draw a gingerbread man outline on a piece of paper. It's more fun to play with game with another person so you will need two outlines, one each.
Making a Gingerbread Man Trap
Can you use items like sticks, leaves and the net from a bag of fruit if you have one to make a trap for the Gingerbread Man?
If you want to try something fun ...
