‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Friday 3rd July

It's Friday again. I can't quite believe it. They seem to come around so quickly. Year 3, I know I have said it before, but I am so proud of all of you. You are working so hard in these strange times.

Have a lovely weekend.

Maths

Maths Challenge Day!

As usual, I have a number of challenges for you to have a go at. They get trickier as you go through them. Only take on Challenge 5 and 6 if you are feeling like you want an extra challenge. The answers are at the end. Have fun!

English

Great work on the morning section of your Roman soldier diary. Today and Monday I would like you to complete your diary with the afternoon and evening sections. Make sure that you read through the first section before starting on the next. I have included my WAGOLL and some ideas to help you. Don't forget you have lots of other information that you could use as well.

Science

We started our science work in Year 3 with plants way back in September and we are going to finish with plants. Use the Oak National Academy to find out about the different parts of a flowering plant. We already know the main parts of a plant but this activity looks specifically at the parts of a flower.
