English (1 hour)

Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams input at 10:30am.

Today we are writing and completing our Haiku poems. Please remember the structure of a Haiku. You might want to clap each syllable whilst you are reading your poem aloud to check you have the right number of syllables for each line.

All the resources that we have been using throughout the week are uploaded at the bottom of the page if you would like to have another look.

Once you have written your poem, please write it up in your best Excalibur handwriting. If you would like to, you can use the writing paper uploaded at the bottom of the page. You may also want to perform your poem to somebody at home.

I look forward to reading your wonderful poems on Seesaw!

Please also spend at least 20 minutes reading today and practising your spellings. There is a spelling activity uploaded under the Spellings task on this page.

If you would like to complete some of the World Book Day Activites from yesterday, you can find them HERE

Please upload your responses to the English task on Seesaw. Thank you.
