I have also attached two worksheets.

For worksheet 1 there is a 1 star, two star and 3 star. You will need to choose a dificulty level.

For worksheet 2 (Problem Solving) there is a 1 star, two star and 3 star. You will need to choose a dificulty level.

There is also an extention activity if you finish early.

Today we are going to be completing a comprehension on Sir Captain Tom Moore.

As yesterday was world book day and we had to finish our News Reports we will continue today with our comprehension!

There is a 1 Star, 2 Star and a 3 Star comprehension. The answers are at the end of each doccument in case you get stuck!

Please upload your work to Seesaw under “English Task”.

If you finish the comprehension early, I have attached a World Book Day Scavenger Hunt below for you to have a go at!

You will need lots of books for this activity! You can play at school or at home. Find each of the items from the list below in the books you have.

Use the table to record the book you found the item in, the page number, and whether it was a picture or a word, or both.

Guided Reading (The Boy Who Grew Dragons)

Please re-read chapter 24 and 25 and answer the following questions.

  1. What does it mean when something is ripe?
  2. What shows you that ted is thrilled with his dragon?
  3. What colour was Kat’s dragon?
  4. Why did Ted’s face get sticky?
  5. How can you tell the other three children are impatient?

Please read chapter 26 and 27 for homework.
