Task 1: Arithmetic

• Either complete the whole arithmetic paper or spend around 10 minutes working on the arithmetic questions - do not feel obliged to complete them all (I would target the ones you tend to make more errors on).

• Have a go at the following activities from Nrich. They are designed so all you need is pen and paper. Answers can be found be clicking on Solution to the left of the webpages.

  • Reach 100

Note: spend between 30 and 45 minutes on these activities. This may be split between both or you may choose to focus on one of them.
