‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Monday 11th May

Hi everyone, laugh

Did you celebrate the anniversary of VE Day on Friday?

Some streets had parties safely from their own gardens.  I have set up a blog if you would like to tell everyone what you did.  You will find it at the top of the website page under 'School Blogs'.  Remember that they won't appear instantly as someone has to approve it for display on the website.

Remember to keep visiting Prodigy over the week.  The leaderboard changes everyday and sometimes it is very close.  I will update the leaderboard every Friday afternoon so you can see who is in the lead.

I will continue my phonecalls home this week so hopefully I will get chance to speak to you all.

Have a brilliant day!

Spellings – How well did you do in last weeks spelling check?  If you didn't do your spelling check because of VE Day then you can do it now.

See the 'spelling' tab for week 4 spelling resources.  Find week 4 on the overview and typed below.  Have a good look at them.  Notice that they have the vowel diagraphs 'aw' and 'au' sound.  Can you use the handwriting sheet to record them?

Saint George and the Dragon- If you didn't get chance to finish this on Friday complete our last lesson in the series. Follow the link below to begin lesson 5.

Today, we continue our White Rose lessons.  We are finding number bonds using the part-whole model.  Remember to write the date 11.5.20 and record your answers on paper or on the printed sheet.  You can check your own answers at the end.  Have fun!

* The maths activity on Friday requires some simple ingredients for making 'Butterfly Pizza'.  I have typed the list below to give you a bit of notice.
