Message to Year 6 - No. 49

Good morning, Year 6. I hope you have all had a good weekend and been able able to get outside in the improved weather.

It has been great to see your responses to Seesaw over the past two weeks - keep up the good work. This week's Seesaw question is "What is your favourite subject and why?"

This week, we have registered to join a virtual Big Bang Science event organised by Staffordshire University. The event will allow you to explore hands on challenges, live interactive workshops and take part in question and answer sessions online. The KS2 aspect of the event will take place from 10:00am until 12:00pm tomorrow and Wednesday. Click here to access the event. You will need to type in the password as shown on the link. Please get in touch if you have any difficulty accessing it.

As with previous years, the Reading Agency and Public Libraries have partnered to create the Summer Reading Challenge. You can sign-up to join their challenge where you can get rewards, earn badges and discover new books to read. There are also some games available to play on the website too.

As always, please let me know if you would like any help or support with anything.

Keep safe and keep learning.

Many thanks.

Mr. Hancock
