Welcome Year 4!

Just a few reminders...

• Remember to practise times tables every day. Click on the pictures below for some fun websites which you can use. 
•                                           
• Reading for at least 20 minutes every day. This could be your guided reading book, an accelerated reader book, a book from the Epic! website or one from home. 
• Spellings! You have the Y3/4 spelling list in your packs and your weekly spellings are uploaded each week online. Don't forget to practise them too!
• MyMaths homework is uploaded every Friday and due the following Friday.
• PE! Keep yourself as active as you can. PE with Joe is on at 9am each morning. Ask if you can join in or click on the pictures beow for some fun ideas to keep moving!

Maths

No more than 20 minutes on prodigy. I have posted the leader board for last week on the page titled 'Week Beginning 20th April' but you can also click HERE. Let's see who will be on the leaderboard next week! 

We will be continuing our work on fractions and decimals this term. We will start our learning today reminding ourselves what we have learnt so far. Please complete half of the 'Fractions and Decimals - Review 1' sheet which is in your pack. I set the first half of this sheet before half term so all you need to do is complete the rest of the page! This sheet covered lots of different maths work that we covered last term.

If you would like to challenge yourself, I have uploaded a reasoning and problem solving worksheet at the bottom of the page too.

You may have already finished reading our class text over Easter. To finish the book, please complete the comprehension questions below.

Tomorrow we will start our new text for this term!

The spellings for this week are at the bottom of the page. Don't forget to keep practising them throughout the week!
