Good Morning everyone!
And we are back ....
I hope you had a super half term and are feeling refreshed and ready to go.
Our learning over the next few weeks is guided by traditional tales such as 'Red Riding Hood', 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears', 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and 'The Gingerbread Man'.
We will be reading different versions of these stories as we explore these well known characters and their behaviour.
Our first story is 'Little Red Riding Hood'.

Maths - 'Building 9 and 10' - Week 1
We have a new unit of learning around numbers 9, 10, shape and pattern. We begin, today and tomorrow, with representing and making numbers 9 and 10.
Today are going to start by meeting the Numberblock 9
Now let's catch up with Miss Cooper
After the lesson you are going exploring ways to make 9 and 10 using your 10's frame.

Literacy/CLL: Red Riding Hood
If you have the story at home ask your grown-up to read it to you or listen to this version.

- How did the wolf get to Grandmas before Little Red Riding Hood?
- How did the wolf disguise himself?
- What happened at the end of the story?
Retelling the story using a model map
We are going to make a model map to help retell the story. Watch the video below of my model map to give you some ideas.
When you have made your model map use it to retell the story. If you can ask your grown-up to you video you retelling the story?
