‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Monday 8th June

Good Morning Year 4!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. When the rain stopped, I tried to go outside for a walk. Luckily, it didn't rain whilst I was out!

We are launching Seesaw today! Year 6 had a go last week and they really enjoyed it. Today, please have a go at responding to the 'Welcome to Seesaw' task that has been set. There is more information about this, and Seesaw, on our online learning page for this week which can be found HERE

I aim to reply, where appropriate, to all the responses I receive on both Seesaw and through emails.

Keep in touch and keep learning! You've worked so hard Year 4!

Maths

Please complete the worksheet uploaded on time. This is a consolidation activity. This means that it brings together all the things you have learned about time so far. If there are some things that you are finding a little bit tricky, try logging into MyMaths and seeing if you can complete an online lesson on this topic. Alternatively, you could go back to a lesson from last week and have another go at a previous activity to help remind you.

You may also like to have a go at these telling the time games. Some of them might be a little easier than others. Try a few today and I will put the same links up again tomorrow so you can have a go at some of the others too.

English

Please complete the Oak National Academy lesson on writing a repetitive poem. You may want to write your own linked to Oliver Twist. You can find the lesson HERE

I received some brilliant villainous verses from the lesson last week. You may want to write another one linked to Oliver Twist or one of his friends.

If you need reminding of our class text. You can find an audio book which also can be read without sound HERE

Today is World Oceans Day. There is an online festival running all day today which includes online films, science lessons, yoga, story telling and much more! Have a look here -> https://worldoceanday.school/
