Click here for a video explaining today's science lesson:
Task 1: Investigate light
- Take a look at the Light Demonstration Document below.
- To carry out the investigations, you will need:
- A torch (or phone torch)
- A small selection of toys/objects
- A mirror or reflective surface
- Some transcucent material of different colours (items of clothing will work for this)
- A glass filled half full with water
- A piece of paper
- A pen
- You will need to watch the video above to know what you need to do for each investigation.
- As you carry out the investigation, write down notes answering the following:
- What is happening?
- Why do you think it is happening?
- How can you change what is happening?
- Anything else of note?
Task 2: Conclusion
- Spend about ten minutes writing a conclusion about what you have discovered. Click here for a video demonstration of this.
