Thursday 21st May
It's Thursday
Good morning everyone, hopefully the sun will shine again today like it did yesterday.
Here are todays suggested actitvities.
Lets's get moving! - Roll and jump
- You will need a dice or use an online one. (Just pause the online one when you want it to stop.)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9L-VhUmir-A
- Roll the dice and carry out the jump as many times as you can in 5 minutes.
- Have a rest when you need to.
- 1 = 10 star jumps
- 2 = 10 frog jumps
- 3 = 10 jumps forwards and back
- 4= 10 bunny hops (make bunny ears with your fingers whilst you jump)
- 5 = 10 kangeroo jumps (jump from side to side with your arms in front like a kangeroo)
- 6= 20 jumps of your choice!
Don't forget to rehydrate with water after all that jumping.

Down on the farm
- What animals we see on a farm?
- Where do these animals live? e.g pigs live in a sty.
- What jobs does a farmer have to do?
- Look at the PowerPoint below about Jaz's visit to her Grandad's farm.
- Were there any jobs that Jaz did that you didn't expect?
- Do you think you would like to live on a farm?
- What jobs would you like to do? What job's wouldn't you like to do?
- Try some of the farm home learning challenges on the sheet below.
Make a farm
- If you have any toy animals can you make your own farm? Can you spot the Weetabix and brocolli? What do you think they are being used for?
- You could draw a plan of your farm or design one on paper.
Have a wonderful day,
Mrs Rogers, Mrs Griffin and Mrs Thompson
