Message to Year 6 - No. 4

Welcome to Day 4 of learning from home. I hope you have all been making good use of the sunshine to get outside as much as possible. It was wonderful to hear from so many of you yesterday - feel free to continue emailing into school to let us know how you're getting on.

As well as maths and English, I have provided a link to the National Media Museum website. With our trip being cancelled, I think it's a really nice idea to make use of the information and resources available there. Follow the History tab below for more information.

You all took home a copy of Michael Morpurgo's Listen to the Moon. Please feel free to read this book at your own pace - I will be setting weekly comprehension tasks based on each chapter (this week's is on Friday) but you can read ahead of where we are as a class.

Do let me know if you are having any difficulties with login details for any of the online resources.

Keep safe and keep learning.

Mr. Hancock

Note: For next Tuesday, I have uploaded the 2016 Sample Reading SATs Paper for the children to complete. You do not have this in your packs. This can be completed using the computer screen - answers can be written in the red home learning book. However, if you are not able to print it or use the computer, please let me know. I will arrange for a hard copy to be printed and posted to you.
