Maths (You can join the live lesson on Microsoft Teams)

Today, we are going to be looking out at working out the area of rectangular shapes!

When you go through the PowerPoint you will need to choose between having grid lines or no grid lines.

You will need to choose from 1 Star, 2 Star or 3 Star.

The worksheets are at the bottom of the page.

Please upload your work to Seesaw under “Maths task”.

If you finish early, spend 15 minutes on Times Table Rock Stars.

English (You can join the live lesson on Microsoft Teams)

Today, we are going to be looking at an information text about Planet Earth. There are some questions that go with the information text as well. Remember, you can use a coloured crayon or highlighter to help you highlight information like we do in school. Read the questions really carefully to help you answer the questions.

I will be available on Teams if you need any help or want to join but this is an optional session- you can complete the questions independently if you would rather!

On the document at the bottom of the page, there is the information text, questions and then answers for 1*, then the same for 2*, then the same for 3*.

Ensure you challenge yourself appropriately!

When you have finished the comprehension, find out some more about the Challenger Deep on the internet!

Please upload your work to Seesaw under “English task”.

Please read chapters 7, 8 + 9. The questions are on chapter 9

  3. Find a word on page 94 that you think means “look” or “search”.
