‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Thursday 4th June

Hello Year 4!

How are you today?

You may have received an email about using Seesaw. Look out for it! You will be given a code to use to log into the website/app. We will be launching Seesaw on Monday 8th June and you will be able to respond directly to tasks. I am putting up the activities for this week so if you can already log in, be sure to have a look. Also, keep checking back as I will be uploading Seesaw help links to help you navigate your way around the website/app. You can find the SEESAW TUTORIAL PAGE HERE

Our daily and weekly lessons will continue to be uploaded here on our online learning page as usual. You can only upload one attachment onto Seesaw so all activities and resources will still be here on our website.

You will be able to respond directly to each activity set and I will continue to reply to all the messages I receive both via email and on Seesaw.

If you haven't seen yet, please have a look at the 'News From Home' pages where you can see all the items that have been sent into school. I really enjoy seeing all the wonderful things you have been building/making/creating/working on. Thank you to everybody who has sent something.

Keep safe

Maths

Please complete the MyMaths lesson 'Time Conversions 1'. This can be found HERE. You can also complete the online homework too but this is not due until next Friday (12th June) but I have extended it in case you would like to start today.

I would also like you to work through the online lesson for 'Time Conversions 2'. This can be found HERE.  There is also an online homework for this which again, I have extended if you would like to complete this today. However, this homework is not due until Friday 19th June.

English

We have been working on poetry this week. Today we will be exploring language using a poem. The Oak National Academy lesson can be found HERE

Please remember to keep reading each day using your own books or the Epic! reading website. I have created a class blog where you can share your favourite books. You can share any books you have enjoyed reading and if they are on the Epic! website you can read them too! http://www.excalibur.cheshire.sch.uk/blog/year-4-book-recommendations/51941

I have set some book for you to read on Epic! They are linked to our topic Victorians. I hope you enjoy them. Click on the epic logo below to take you to the website and have a look.

Please remember to comment using your first name only if you would like it to appear on the website.
