Good morning everyone, we hope you had a great day yesterday.

 

 

Here are our sea chalk pictures from yesterday. We also did some planting.

 

 

 

 

• Can you remember some of the creatures that live in the sea that we talked about yesterday?

 

• Look at the Powerpoint below and see if you can guess what's hiding.

 

Writing Sentences

 

• Have a look at the pictures in the writing activity below.

 

• Choose one of the pictures to write about. You need to talk about what you can see in the picture. Now think of a sentence to write. 

 

• Don't worry if you can't print the pictures out. You can write your sentence on a piece of paper and draw your own picture.

 

• You need to say your sentence a few times until you know it. Now have a go at writing it down.

 

Phonics/Reading

 

• Play 'Help a Hedgehog'

 

• Help the hedgehog to cross the road safely by reading the words.

 

• Choose Phase 2 or 3 but don't choose 'phase 3 mixed vowel phonemes' as this covers some of the set 3 sounds that we haven't done yet. 

 

• If your child has been doing set 3 at home you could have a go.

Maths: Oak Academy - Exploring addition by adding on

 

• In this lesson we will add 2 quantities together by adding on.

 

• This means remembering the initial amount and counting on from that to add on the next amount.
