Tuesday 21st April
Welcome Year 4!
I hope you have all settled into your online learning routines again. It can sometimes be hard to get back into a routine but I am sure you have all made your learning timetables and are ready to go!
I have put activities for all other subjects under the page 'Week Beginning 20 April 2020'. Make sure to have a look at this too.
Keep up all your hard work!

We will be continuing working with fractions and decimals this week. For today, please look at the White Rose Hub website. We are working on Week 2 - Lesson 2 - Hundredths.

If you are finding this a little tricky, try looking at the MyMaths lesson too.

Our new class text will be Oliver Twist!
You can read or listen to the story by clicking on the link. I would only like you to read the first two pages today but please feel free to read ahead if you would like to.

Our next piece of writing will be to write a description of the workhouse. There is a little description in the story and a picture too. Use this (and your imagination too) to create your own word bank. You may want to start by drawing the workhouse and then writing some words next to your drawing.
There is a word bank at the bottom of this page to help you get started. If you are not sure of the meaning of some of the words, you could ask an adult or look up the meaning in a dictionary.
