Maths (1 hour)

Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams lesson at 9:00am.

If you were unable to join the Teams session, please begin the lesson by watching this video -> https://vimeo.com/500377891

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Today we are learning to make Tally charts.

Please have a go at the worksheet uploaded at the bottom of the page.

The answers are also uploaded so, if you are able to, you can check your own work.

CHALLENGE

If you would like to have a go at a challenge, there is one at the bottom of the page for you. Please choose one of the activities to complete which is the right level of challenge. You do not need to complete them all. The answers are also uploaded for you on the last page of the document so, if you are able to, you can check your own answers.

Please upload your responses to the maths task on Seesaw. Thank you.

English (1 hour)

Today we will be starting a new unit of poetry!

We will be reading some poems to look at the features and then we will be writing our own poem.

If you were unable to join our Teams meeting today, please work through the PowerPoint uploaded at the bottom of the page.

Please have a go at the task uploaded at the bottom of the page and on Seesaw. I would like you to think about the poem 'What is ... the sun?' and how it may make you feel. Do you like the poem? Do you not like the poem? Why?

Then, please read the poem again to find vocabulary to complete the table. You are looking for adjectives, nouns and verbs.

CHALLENGE

Can you find some other examples in the poem using the features in the PowerPoint? Can you find any alliteration or any metaphors?

Please upload your responses to the English task on Seesaw. Thank you.

French (1 hour)

Before half term we looked at the story The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Today, please rewatch the story. Please click HERE to watch and listen to the story.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Did you spot the days of the week and the food items that we have been learning?

Please have a go at the worksheet uploaded at the bottom of the page and on Seesaw. Can you match up the words and the pictures? If you prefer, you can draw your own pictures and write in French underneath.

Please upload your responses to the French task on Seesaw. Thank you.

PSHE (1 hour)

Please complete the following lesson on Oak National Academy. We are continuing our topic all about what makes a balanced lifestyle. There is an online lesson for you to complete today. Please complete all the activities included in the lesson.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Today's task (from the Oak National Academy lesson) is to have a go at some of the key exercises from the personal trainer. Then, you will be able to create your own workout routine. Perhaps you could include some elements from our PE lessons or from your exercise timetable that you created last week?
