‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Tuesday 28th April

It's Tuesday everyone!

Hope you are all ok. Are you remembering to do what you grown-up asks you to?

Make sure you help by tidying away your things.

Today we are thinking about the life cycle of a hen.

Life Cycle of a Hen

  • Look at the PowerPoint and video clip below to see the life cycle of a hen.

Come Outside - Eggs

  • Watch Auntie Mabel and Pippin as they find out about different eggs including some giant ostrich eggs!

  • You could make draw another life cycle or you could do the cutting and sticking sheet below.

Walk like a hen

  • Can you make your  body into a hen shape? What will you do with your arms? Move round imaginging you are pecking, looking for food!

Maths - National Oak Academy: Understanding equal groups

The lesson today is based around the story 'Handa's Surprise'.

After watching the lesson look for opportunties to guess quantities without counting. Look for patterns like those you find on a dice or domino set.

Have a fanstastic day,
