Music

It was good to hear that you'd been singing along with the familiar songs last week.  Here's a few more that you know. Hope you enjoy having a good sing along.

Ain't no mountain high enough - Sing Up - Bing video

John Kanaka - Sing Up - Bing video

Here's a traditional folk song about a 'Quartermaster' - the officers in the army responsible for makig sure everyone in the army has the correct equipmemt and materials for them to do their jobs.  It links nicely with your class topic this term.

The Quartermaster's stores - Sing Up - YouTube

For today's lesson please see tha attched powerpoint - Dr Who Lesson 1.  This looks at why the Doctor Who theme music was a ground breaking piece and tells you all about the composer and how the music was arranged.  There's also an activity for you to do - a graphic representation of the piece.  Draw shapes, lines and colours to represent what you hear in the piece - or a piece of your choice.

Have fun and we look forward to seeing your finished pieces on Seesaw.
