Counting On by 1's I Can Count From Any Number
Today's lesson is about the days of week.
During the lesson you can pause it and listen to me read the story of Jasper's Beanstalk.
Today there is a follow up activity from the lesson and there is also an activity about the day before and the day after. You can complete this by talking to your child if you don't have a printer or making your own.
Remember there are also some new activities on the additional maths activities page.
Mr Wolf's Pancakes
Can you remember what ingredients Mr Wolf needed to make his pancakes?
Look at the PowerPoint below to find out why we have Pancake Day.
Watch the video of me making pancakes. What can you see and hear as I make them? We are going to be tasting pancakes at school today.
What do you like to eat on your pancakes? What words can you think of to describe how your pancakes will taste?
Can you draw a pancake and put on your favourite toppings? There is a cutting and sticking activity that you could do if you have a printer.
or
you could make pancakes from playdough or Lego or you could paint some?
Joint me later for a bedtime story.
Have a lovely day,
Mrs Rogers
