‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Wednesday 17th June

 Welcome Year 4!

I received an email earlier this week and we have earned another Epic reading badge! Well done! As a class, we have now read 700 books! Well done to everybody who has been using the website regularly. I have been setting some different books on Epic! Please check back to see if any more have been uploaded. If you would like me to set you some more books, I can do that for you. I will post an Epic! Reading task on Seesaw today. Please respond telling me which type of books you enjoy reading and I will do my best to find a couple from the website for you.

Over the next two weeks I will be giving you a call again to see how you are getting on with your learning and finding out all the things you have been doing.

Keep safe.

Maths

Please spend no longer than 20 minutes on Prodigy.

I have created another set of questions based on telling the time for you to complete throughout the week. It will take about 30 minutes in total so to finish this task before Friday, you will need to play for at least 5 minutes per day.

Please complete the reasoning and problem solving questions, uploaded at the bottom of the page, on angles. Most of the questions will require you to use your knowledge of acute, obtuse and right angles to answer the questions. There are 5 questions. After the 5 questions, I have copied the questions again and given the answers in red so you can mark your work.

English

Please have a go at the BBC Bitesize lesson on exploring fronted adverbials. We will be using fronted adverbials when we write our diary entry. There are some videos for you to watch and activities to complete too.
