Good morning, all.  I just wanted to start today by saying a huge thank you for working so hard during this really difficult time.  I know not everyone can send me work but from what I have seen on Seesaw, you are all making me feel very proud.  You are absolute stars xxx

Today is National Writing Day so if you fancy a challenge, visit the Bitesize website HERE and have a go at the writing challenge. If you can, send me your work when you have completed it!

English

Today, we are going to start working on a newspaper article that reports on the disappearance of a young boy from his family's yacht.  Read through my WAGOLL to begin with then have a look at the English PowerPoint to remind yourselves of the features of newspaper articles.  Using the checklist, can you identify all the features of a newspaper, using my article.

Now, look through the PowerPoint 'Headlines'. Can you think of a) a name for your newspaper and b) a headline for your article.
