Welcome Year 4!

Good Morning Year 4. It has been so lovely to speak to so many of you over the past week. I will continue to ring this week so don't worry if I haven't phoned yet or if you have missed my call.

Today is National Writing Day so I have got a special activity for English for today.

Keep safe

English

Today is National Writing Day. To celebrate, have a go at this special lesson.

If you would like to send me your writing, you can do this on Seesaw. I really do enjoy reading your writing. Thank you to everybody who has sent some in already!

Please also spend some time practising your spellings today. You might want to choose one of the following activities:

Look, cover, write check

Writing you spellings out in different colours

Spelling pyramids

Writing your spellings in fancy letters

Science

Please have a look at this video https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zxrb4wx . It is about using circuits to make games and activities. Your task today is to try and design your own circuit game. You can use the ideas in the video to help you. Draw out on a piece of paper or in your book your design. You may want to make a 'wire loop' game that is a specific shape or you might want to design something completely different. It is up to you!

Alternatively, explore the CBBC science page which has lots of clips, quizzes and experiments. Please ask before clicking on any links.
