‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Wednesday 25th March

Welcome Year 4!

I hope you all enjoyed 'PE with Joe' yesterday morning! Ask if you can join in this morning at 9am. https://www.youtube.com/user/thebodycoach1

Please find the set work for today here. I aim to follow our usual weekly timetable but some tasks may take longer than others and so may be set over a few days.

Keep in touch and keep safe.

Maths

Please try to complete any outstanding MyMaths homework over the next few weeks.

  • In your packs you will find ten minute maths. These will be the starters for each maths lesson. Please complete the next block of 10-minute maths.

  • Please complete Lesson 1 (Recognise Tenths and Hundredths ) on the White Rose Maths website.                  https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-4/
  • Spend 30 minutes today practising your times tables. You could play one of the games/activities we use in school but don't forget about TTRS too!  -> If you haven't already, why not try supermovers? Click the picture to try it out.

English

                           What is happening?

Use adjectives to describe the setting.

What might the characters be saying?

What might the characters be thinking? How are they feeling?

Also, please complete the following activites on Classrom Secrets Kids. Ask an adult to email the school if you are having problems logging in.

Science

Have a look at some cool science experiment videos to get started.

Over the next few science lessons, use the science booklet in your pack to research and make notes about our topic. Make sure you answer the questions at the end too! Your task is to find out as much as you can about the water cycle. Create your own booklet, poster or PowerPoint presentation to show all your research. Here are some links to get you started.
