Maths

Today you are going to be practising finding amounts of sets of objects. You can use the videos from yesterday (Week 2 Lessons 2 and 3) to remind yourself if you wish.

There is a powerpoint with some questions on for you to try, then you can have a go at the questions on the sheet. Remember it is up to you which page you choose to do. You could do them all if you feel like it but I only expect you to complete 1 of the pages. The answers are on the last page so that you can check how you are doing. To give you a bit of a challenge I have uploaded some problem solving questions as well. Have fun!

We will be continuing with our work based on Icarus. To remind you of the story there are some sentences to put in the correct order on the storyboard. This is based on The Flight of Icarus which will be the part of the story that we are going to retell (and make better!). I have provided you with some sentences to improve by adding an opener. There are some examples of openers that you can use. If you are up for a challenge then you can try to improve the sentences in other ways as well. Maybe you could choose better verbs or adjectives or even extend the sentences. These will come in useful when you do your own retell.
