I hope you have collected a lot of facts over the last two days. Today, you are going to write your first paragraph. Click on the armour to watch me write some of my paragraph.

Use 'Living in a Castle Part 1' to help you today. Please send me your paragraphs via Seesaw, thank you.

Remember to read to an adult for 20 minutes.

Practise your spellings.

History

We have just finished learning all about the four countries, capitals and castles of the UK. What are the four countries of the UK? What is the capital city of each country? What is special about the castle in those cities?

Let's start something different. Here is a website to help you learn where and how the Great Fire of London started.

https://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/museum-london/great-fire

The Museum of London broadcast a live stream all about where and how it started. Watch it here and find out these facts, please.

The date it started.   The address where it started. The building where it started. How it started in that buidling. Three reasons the fire spread so very quickly.

You will need answers ready to use when we dramatise the events next week, in school.

You can also experience the events in minecraft.

IT

Let's try 'Dance Mat Typing', it will help you to find your way around a keyboard and it may even help you with spellings. Find 'Dance Mat Typing' here. Try Level 1, Game 1 Home Row, to start. If you are confident keeping your fingers in position then try Game 2 'e i'.

Afterwards, spend 20 minutes on Prodigy, or find out more facts ready for your second English paragraph, tomorrow.
