‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Week Commencing 1st June 2020

Over half term Charlie spent lots of time outdoors enjoying the sunshine whilst it lasted! Charlie chose to read ‘The Weirdstone of Brisingamen’ as our bedtime story, so we took a trip to Alderley Edge and completed the Wiazard Walk. We have also completed a window display for Alsager Animal Safari and enjoyed making Chocolate Art Rainbows 🌈

Today, Isabelle revealed a picture hidden in a times table mosaic. She took great care to select the correct colours (using a special number code) and she was very proud of the finished results. She has also been taking part in the 30 day challenge on the ‘Maths Factor’. Carol Vorderman has been teaching Isabelle new ways to add bigger numbers. She loves the learning videos because they are not too long. Definitely a maths day!

Over the holidays, Isabelle released her five butterflies.  We were lucky to have beautiful sunshine so the butterflies could enjoy the warmth.  One stayed on Isabelle’s hand for a while, before flying off to enjoy the flowers. 💐

This afternoon I have designed my Mars buggy and then built it out of Lego as we didnt have any cardboard boxes. I had fun building it.

Martha has been busy looking after her two chicks - Misty and Billy.
We tried out some red hair!
For her birthday Martha had a Unicorn visit. She made her own Ladybird birthday cake and has been chilling out in the pool.
