Martha has had a busy time! She has started each day doing PE with Joe. She's done lots of home learning on the computer, completed her Spring picture for Art and had a piano lesson via Skype! Last week she even won star of the week for all her hard work. Hope everyone is doing ok.

Thursday 2nd April 2020

We did a maths lesson today using Lego, using Charlie’s Easter egg task for inspiration. He built a tower in order 1-30. We then put them in colour groups and Harry ordered them smallest to biggest number. He did very well πŸ˜€

Wednesday 1st April 2020

Today Harry built a castle den.

Imogen and max have been really busy with their dad this week.  Exercise and a run every morning, followed by some home learning.
They have had fun egg painting today, Max has gone foe an earth look and Imogen’s is lovely and sunny.
Imogen has completed an Antarctic poster about sir Ernest Shackleton for the learning set by miss Robinson.   Imogen has also continued to write a page of a story everyday to a lovely elderly couple on our road , posting them every day so they have a story compiled to help them through the isolation.  Stay safe every one x

A few pics of Sophia, including her castle and crown :)

As today should have been the reception fairytale ball, Emma chose to use Mrs Roger's idea of building a fairytale castle using duplo blocks. She also made a carriage.

This morning Emma, Lucy and Mum walked to Excalibur and back again for exercise. This may become a regular jaunt so we don't forget what it looks like πŸ™‚

Annie and Pearl the unicorn have done lots of reading today. Annie has finished her guided reading book and says I'm very annoying with all the questions! πŸ˜‚

Lots of fun this week learning about the story of Easter. Charlie thought it was very strange that Jesus washed the disciples feet.
This morning Charlie went on an egg hunt around the house. He found all 30 eggs and placed them in order from 1-30, he then put the eggs into colours and ordered the numbers from smallest to largest.
We’re having lots of fun at home but Charlie’s missing you all lots!

Lauren and Matthew have dressed up for the Reception class Once Upon a Time Ball. They did their morning yoga and funky fingers in their princess and knights costume.

Hi everyone how is your week going?  Today was meant to be our class Once Upon a Time ball. Now I am not letting the fact that we are stuck at home stopping me from wearing my princess dress. So today in my dress I have helped Ben again with his homework, put the recycling out (I did get some funny looks from the neighbours), washed the dishes, mopped the floor (and had a dance with the mop) and played catch. I’ve done some more work in your yellow books and started some online training that Mrs Jones has sent me.  I’ll be glad to get back into school for a rest. Stay safe everyone love ya xx Mrs Thompson

Tuesday 31st March 2020

Today Lissie has counted out 21 blocks from 0-20, written the numbers on herself and made 2 towers - 1 counting upwards from 0-20 and 1 counting backwards from 20-0.

Parry and Corey have been for a walk with Chancey Boy and their sisters. Apparently Chancey Boy is worn out now.

Monday 30th March 2020

Mrs Weatherby had to be in school this morning and look who arrived. Don't worry Mr Picken sorted him out and he was on his way. Keep an eye out for him though.

George has been reading independently, going onto my maths & timetable rock stars an hour each.

We’re doing lots with him though- life skills - how to change a plug , servicing a lawn mower and gardening skills.

Reilly's mum set him a challenge to write the word reflection so it could be read in a mirror!

An action shot below of Erin doing her 11x tables.

At the weekend Corey learned about primary and secondary colours and what colours to mix to make another colour. Mum helped him to paint his first landscape and taught him some tips to make it look realistic. He had alot of fun and really enjoyed it. We used water colours.
