SEND at Excalibur
We have a whole school approach to children with additional needs and/or disabilities.
We differentiate or personalise our curriculum to ensure that all children can access the teaching in our classrooms.
In our school we have:
- Quality First Teaching
- Additional intervention in small groups
- Individualised support
Any child in receipt of or being awarded funding will have an Education Health Care Plan.
Cheshire East Local Offer
The Cheshire East Local Offer includes information about the support and provision that families can expect from a wide range of agencies for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or disabilities (SEND) from birth to 25 years old. Click on the image below to find out more information about what Cheshire East can provide.
The Cheshire East framework provides parents/carers with information about how to access services in their local area and what they can expect from those services. With regard to education, it will let parents/carers of young people know how schools and colleges will support them and what they can expect across the local setting.
On this page, you will also find information and advice about available support for the following:
- Health provision
- Care provision
- Things to do
- Money and Benefits
