‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Standon Bowers - Year 4 - Blog 3

Date: 5th Mar 2020 @ 3:36pm

For the first part of this afternoon, the class was split into two groups and took part in the first activity of the day. Mr. Hancock and Miss Bell’s group did caving, during which the children rose to the challenge of navigating their way through a system of interweaving tunnels, with names such as the Hobbit Hole, the Dungeon and the Black Hole. All the children did fantastically with many of them, who initially felt nervous, did brilliantly.

Miss Bass and Mrs. Bundy’s group has done low ropes. During this activity, the children had to work in pairs or groups to work their way along the ropes and other obstacles.
