Task 1: Relative clauses

  • Watch all videos and complete the activities.

Task 2: Planning of writing (the Thief)

  • Look again at The Thief - WAGOLL for an idea of what the finished product should look like.
  • Use the Planning Template (The Thief) to plan your piece of writing.
  • Spend at least 10 minutes jotting down notes so that you know what you are going to include in each section.

Task 3: Draft write sections 1 to 5

  • Click here for a video by me talking you through the writing process and modelling how you could approach these paragraphs.
  • Spend at least 40 minutes writing. Rather than finishing the whole piece today, really focus on editing and improving the writing in sections 1 to 5.
  • Send completed paragraphs to me on Seesaw and I will provide feedback to support you with Friday's writing (tomorrow's English session will be a guided reading session on Teams).
