Task: Write a setting description
- Your task is to write an engaging setting description which could be used to introduce a setting to a story.
- The Setting Description Images document below shows some images you may wish to use to help with your writing. However, you may write a description about any character of your choice.
- Use the following documents to help you further:
- WAGOLL: Setting Description - I have written a character description for Albus Dumbledore.
- Sentence Structure Support - Use this document to help with constructing a variety of sentence structures with your writing. I have used the progression of sentences to put the PDF together.
- Progression of Sentences - you will be familiar with this document and can use it, along with the Sentence Structure Support, to help with varying your sentence structures.
Extra Writing Challenge
- Extend either your character description or setting description to create your own story.
