‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

English (Wk begin 15.6.20)

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a great weekend.  We had a bit of rain but mostly the sun shone so it was nice to get out in the garden.  Isabelle helped to brush up the leaves when Mr Cheadle cut the hedge.  I pulled up lots of cheeky weeds that were growing between the flowers.

This week, I have lots of things to keep you busy.  Did everyone join the 'Maths Factor'?  If not, I definitely recommend you do. There is even a 'Summer Club' to keep you learning over the Summer break.  It probably takes about 15 minutes to watch a video tutorial, complete a warm up activity and then the follow up activity.  So if you do one each day that's great.

Enjoy your day and keep shining!

Mrs Cheadle

P.s. After you have completed your 'English' jobs for the day you can find your 'Maths' job on a separate page.  Last week, the page seemed a bit too full so we will try it this way instead.

Next, we visit Oak Academy for more lessons with Miss Browne.  This week, we learn about writing a funny poem. I have been watching the lessons to check they are ok and I think Miss Browne is amazing.  Enjoy!
