Friday 10th July
It's Fantastic Friday Everyone!
You have all been superstars again this week, well done everyone!
What is this dinosaur?
- How do you know?
- Is this dinosaur a herbivore, carnivore or an omivore?
- How does it like to hunt?
( answer: its a velociraptor)
- It's been a rather wet week this week.
- Fingers crossed it's a little drier next week so we can get out and about a bit more!
Maths: Oak Academy
- In this lesson we will continue playing games using our knowledge of numbers to 10 and 20.

Dinosaurs - 1 more, 1 less.
- You can download the sheet below but it's more fun to do this with real toy dinosaurs (you can use other objects if you don't have any dinosaurs).
- Line up some dinosaurs e.g. 5 side by side. Now ask your child to add one more. How many now?
- Go back to having 5, now ask your child what is one less? (they need to take one away).
- Repeat starting with different numbers.
- You can extend this by asking your child to tell you 2 or 3 more or less.
Reading/Phonics
- Play Dragons Den
- It is getting tricky to tell you what stage to try as some children may be at stage 2 and some may be confident with stage 5.

Dinosaur skeletons
- These look fun to do if you have pasta and can find enough sticks!
- You could use lolly sticks, cocktail sticks or cotton buds instead
Andy's Dinosaur Adventures
- Andy travels back to the time of iberomesornis - a bird that lived in the forests of Spain 127 million years ago.
