Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams lesson at 9:00am.

Please complete the guided actvities on the PowerPoint before moving on to the maths tasks. There is also THIS VIDEO to help explain the method.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Today we are learning to divide using a number line. You may wish to use the number lines uploaded at the bottom of the page.

Please choose one activity to complete. There are *, ** and *** activities to choose from. The activities are on the PowerPoint but I have also uploaded them separately below.

CHALLENGE

If you would like to have a go at a challenge after you have completed your activity, there is one uploaded at the bottom of the page. This is also on the PowerPoint which is uploaded on Seesaw. The answers are also included so, if you are able to, you can check your own answers.

Please upload your responses to the maths task on Seesaw. Thank you.

English

Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams input at 10:30am.

The PowerPoint and the activities are uploaded below so you can have another look at these after the session if you would like to.

If you were unable to join us on Teams this morning, please work through the PowerPoint before starting to write your next paragraph.

Today we are continuing to write our non-chronological report all about Emperor penguins. Please use the plan you created last week to begin writing your next paragraph. Today we are draft writing the next two paragraphs which will be 'diet' and 'habitat'. There is a WAGOLL uploaded at the bottom of the page.

Please focus on these two paragraphs only. If you would like to have a look at some more facts for this paragraph, there is a document uploaded below for you. Please remember to keep reading your draft writing aloud so you can check spellings and punctuation. I am really looking forward to reading your paragraphs!

Please upload your responses to the English task on Seesaw. Thank you.

Spellings

Please spend some time today practising your spelling words. Perhaps you could ask somebody at home to check your spellings like we do in school on Fridays?

I have uploaded the new spellings for this week at the bottom of this page and on Seesaw. Please continue to practise them throughout the week. There will be activities uploaded next week to help you to practise your new spelling words.

Task

Read through your spelling words. Are there any words which you are unsure of? You may want to look them up in the dictionary to find out the meaning of the words.

RE

Please complete the following lessons on Oak National Academy. Today we are learning about the parables of Jesus. There is also a song for you to learn and to sing along to. Please complete all the activities in the online lesson.

Click HERE to go to the lesson.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Please respond to the task on Seesaw by telling me, in your own words, the parable of the Good Samaritan. You may choose to write a short paragraph, draw a comic strip or create your own poster.

Please respond to the RE task on Seesaw.

PE

This week we have another lesson from Sports Coaching North West. Today it is a dance lesson! I hope you enjoy it. You may want to add in some of your own dance moves. Click HERE to have a go.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

If you are using your own dance moves, perhaps have a go at moving to the beat HERE. Can you challenge yourself to move in different ways in time to the music? Let me know on Seesaw.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Please upload your responses to the PE task on Seesaw. Thank you.
