‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Friday 5th June

I can't believe that is is Friday already! This week has gone really quickly. Well done for keeping up the good work Year 3. It is great to see the work you have been doing so if you want to email it to school that would be brilliant. From Monday we will be able to use Seesaw for you to share some of your learning with me.

It has been great to hear what you have all been up to over half term. There have been dances, bike rides, lots of birthday celebrations, camping in the garden, picnics, spending time with family, butterfly releases, big walks and even a unicorn visit! If you haven't contributed to the blog yet I have included the link for you to do so.

Maths

Time for some maths challenges today. They get trickier as you work through them and the answers are on the last page for you to see how you did. Have fun!

Here is a Classroom Secrets interactive video tutorial to have a go at based on the 4 and 8 times tables. There are some questions to do along the way. Again, I am hoping that I have assigned it to you so should come up when you log in but here is the link just in case.

English

Today you are going to be finishing and editing your Boudicca speech. Try reading it out loud, imagining how Boudicca might have delivered the speech to the Iceni tribe tohelp you in the editing process.

Can you persuade them to join the rebellion?
