Task 1: Kahoot Quiz

• Have a go at the Kahoot quiz by clicking the link below:

• Once you have done the quiz, research any questions you have got wrong.
• For example, if you don't know what a "compass rose" is then search for its definition using the internet.

Task 2: Plot a route

• Click here for a video recapping how to take six-figure grid references.
• For this part of the session you will need the second OS map which was in your learning pack from a few weeks ago.
• With a pencil, lightly draw a route from Merebrook (991608) to Lud's Church (657657). You need to draw the route over the green dotted/dashed lines (these are the footpaths).
• You now need to mark down the grid references along the route where there is a change in direction.
