Monday
Good morning everyone, hope you are all ok. It will seem very strange that we can't all be together and that we are going to be learning in this way for a while. This is a chance for you to show your grown-up what a superstar you are. Remember to listen to your grown-up and help them by doing what they ask, just like you would at school. Remember to try your best, even if it is tricky.
Here are today's home learning opportunties:
PE
A man called Joe Wicks is running live YouTube "P.E with Joe" sessions everyday at 9am.

You could also try the fantastic 'Cosmic Kids Yoga' website too, there are loads of ideas on here.

Story: live at 2.00 pm (suitable for everyone)
Until I have watched them today I can't comment as to what they will be like. the website says they will be there for 24 hours.
You also have your green speed sounds books and keyrings to practise if you can everyday.
The Gingerbread Man
If you have a copy of the story at home ask your grown-up to read it to you or you can listen to the version below.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoQyyB5xvLk
After reading or watching the story talk about what happened. Can you remember which characters were in the story and in what order they appeared? Who did he meet first? Second? Next?
How else could the Gingerbread Man have crossed the river? Can you build, draw or make something that would get him across?
Maths - counting and positional language
Start by counting to 10 forwards and backwards, then 20 (going backwards is really tricky!) Count forwards as far as you can. Can you get to 100?
This song might help you!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dkPouLWCyc
Draw a gingerbread man on a piece of paper (or thin card - such as the inside of a cereal packet) and cut him out.
Hide your gingerbread man and give your grown-up instuctions where to find him.
Try and give clues that use position words e.g up, down, behind, under, above, below. You could use a teddy or other toy to be a gingerbread man instead.
We will continue tomorrow with the Gingerbread Man story.
Finish your day with a story.
Don't forget to have fun playing with your toys too.
The usual weekly phonics and maths actitivies are on the Reception Class homepage.
