Hello Year 2. Click on the tally to hear todays message.

It was lovely to see so many of you at our live maths lesson on Friday. This week, we are starting a series of lessons about tally charts, pictograms, tables and bar graphs. Watch this video to learn how to tally.

Try to answer as many questions as you can using the Monday Maths Tally file from below.

Upload your responses to the maths link on Seesaw, thank you.

Thank you for the first part of the snake writing that you sent me last week. I was very impressed with the way that you had written in the third person and used the present tense. Let's finish it today. We have two more paragraphs of our snake information text to write. Today, it’s food and behaviour. Click on the    to watch me finish my information text. Please upload your paragraphs to the English link on Seesaw, thank you.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, we will edit our writing to improve sentence beginnings and vocabulary choices. It will be an opportunity to check spelling too.

Practise your spellings for this week and remember to read to a grown up for 20 mins, please. Have you got a Guided Reading Teams meeting today? Check your Teams calendar.

Why are spoons made from metal? Why are chairs made from wood? Why are wellies made from plastic? Could these objects be made from paper? Miss Harris is looking at why certain materials are used for different purposes.

Miss Jadoon is keeping calm and carrying on today. What makes you feel calm? What makes you happy?
