Writing: Lune et L'Autre

Yesterday, you practised writing descriptive sentences that started with a range of openers.  Some of you had a go at tagging on short sentences to build up the tension for the reader. Today,  watch the short animation again using the link below then complete today's tasks.

Task 1: Follow the link below to BBC Bitesize where you will learn about relative prounouns and clauses.

Watch the video and complete the short online tasks.

Task 2: Have a look at the PowerPoint attached.  Complete the activities. Open the document "Relative Clauses" and complete both the tasks on the sheet. Make sure you circle the relative pronouns and underline the relative clause in your sentences about Lune et L'autre.

Task 3: Follow the link below to BBC Bitesize where you will learn about noun phrases and expanded noun phrases.  Complete the activities online.  After, create a bank of noun phrases/expanded noun phrases to describe the creature and the girl in Lune et L'autre.

E.g. The young girl with auburn hair...

      The eager child...

       A large, ghostly creature...
