EMA

Today's EMA will be part of our maths Teams session at 9:00am. If you are unable to make this or you would like to have another look at it, the EMA activity (and answers) are included in the maths PowerPoint uploaded at the bottom of the page and on Seesaw. 

 

Nessy

If you usually go onto Nessy at school during EMA, please make sure you are doing this at home too. Please aim to spend between 20 to 30 minutes on Nessy every day. Please let me know if you have not received your log in details.

 

Maths

Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams lesson at 9:00am. 

If you were unable to join the Teams session, please work through the maths PowerPoint uploaded at the bottom of the page and on Seesaw.

Please complete the guided actvities on the PowerPoint before moving on to the maths tasks. There is also THIS VIDEO to help explain the method.

Today we are learning to divide using a number line (with remainders). There are *, ** and *** activities to choose from. Once you have worked through the PowerPoint, please choose one activity to complete.

There are some blank number lines uploaded at the bottom of the page if you would like to use these. However, you may wish to draw your own number line on a whiteboard or piece of paper. 

 

CHALLENGE

If you would like to have a go at a challenge after you have completed your activity, there is one uploaded at the bottom of the page. The answers are also included on the last page of the document so, if you are able to, you can check your own answers.

During the Teams lesson, we will discuss some strategies you can use to answer the comprehension questions. If you were unable to join us on Teams this morning, please work through the PowerPoint before answering the comprehension questions. 

There are *, ** and *** comprehension questions for you to have a go at. Please choose the task that you feel suits your level. You only need to complete one set of questions.

RE (1 hour)

Please complete the following lesson on Oak National Academy. Last week we learned about the parables of Jesus. Today, we will be looking at the Holy Bible. There are two parts for you to learn about today which are The Old Testament and The New Testament. 

Please complete all of the activities in the online lesson. This should take the whole lesson to complete. The final activity is to draw a table and write what happened on each day. Please draw pictures too if you would like to. I am really looking forward to seeing your responses!

Today we are going to look at a sea shanty. There are three songs for you to listen to and you can find the links for these by clicking the 'show more' button under the video. Please click HERE to watch the online lesson. Have a think about the songs and the similarites between the three pieces of music. Then, please have a go at all the activities in the video and have a go at creating your own sea shanty.
