LO: To use equivalences between metric and imperial
Use the PowerPoint to help you to learn the conversions between some metric and imperial units. After, work through the questions on the activity sheet using the conversions to help. For some of the questions, you may need to do a column multiplication to help you to get to the answer. Remember to show your working out clearly.
English
Today, we are going to have a look at how to include figurative language in our writing. This is something that we have covered before so hopefully it will help you to practise. Remember, our writing task is going to be about Michael being on the voyage around the world ending with him falling overboard and being marooned on an island. You may need to look at the PowerPoint to remind yourself of what a simile, metaphor and personification is.
Computing - Mrs Harris
Hello everyone. In Computing this week, it's our last lesson on Spreadsheets. This week you're going to use everything you've learnt so far to create your own spreadsheet for a purpose of your choice. Alternatively, you can adapt a spreadsheet you've already worked on during this half term. I hope you enjoy it. Mrs Harris.
