Maths:

Choose times tables on Hit the Button.  As a challenge, you could play on 'division facts'.

Spellings - complete the spelling scribble activity. 

Over the next couple of weeks, we are going to build up to writing a newspaper article based on the findings of the yeti footprints near to the Hotel Himalaya.  Just to remind you that Lucy, who had been sleepwalking, left her yeti footprints in the fresh snow on Mount Nanvi Dar near to the Hotel Himalaya.  Two mountaineers discovered them by chance.  Reporters were contacted and are now residing in the Hotel Himalaya ready to send reports of the yeti prints.  

Today, have a look at the PowerPoints 'Features of Newspapers' and 'Headlines'.  Try to think of a headline for this article.  

Computing (from Mrs Harris):

Go through the PowerPoint and use the 'Hockey League-Children' excel file to complete the activities. The 'Activity Sheet Hockey League.pdf' file will help explain how to calculate the formulas in the spreadsheet. There is an extension activity that asks you to copy the information from the Excel file into a Word document to create a report. As such, this lesson is designed to take 2-3 lessons (1 lesson per week) to complete. Remember to save your work.
