‘Nurturing Individual Excellence’

Wednesday 16th December 2020

Good Morning, Year 5!  I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined me for the Teams sessions yesterday.  It really was great to see you all.  Thanks also if you've managed to upload your work to Seesaw.  It's a tough time not being in school but we're half way through the week and you really are doing a fantastic job xxx

Practise sentences for your Snowman scene that include figuartive language.

Task 2: Today, begin to draft the scene you have chosen from The Snowman.  See if you can include features of a narrative text.  Use the checklist to help you.  Think about the sentence level work we have completed so far - speech and figurative language.  Have a go at including these in your writing.

Challenge:  You can choose more than one scene to write about.  Try linking two or even three scenes together.
