EMA

Today's EMA will be part of our Teams session. If you are unable to make this or you would like to have another look at it, the EMA activity (and answers) are included in the maths PowerPoint uploaded at the bottom of the page and on Seesaw.

Maths

Please join us for a live Microsoft Teams lesson at 9:00am.

Today we are learning to solve scaling problems.

If you were unable to join the Teams session, please begin the lesson by watching this video -> https://vimeo.com/494127943

Then, please work through the maths PowerPoint uploaded at the bottom of the page. Please complete all the activities on the PowerPoint before moving on to the maths tasks. There are *, ** and *** activities to choose from.

Please upload your responses to the maths task on Seesaw. Thank you.

English

Today's English lesson will be on Teams in small groups. Please check your Teams calendar so you know when your group will be as some of the groups have changed since last week. Please let me know if you are unsure which group you are in.

The reading texts, comprehension questions and answers have been uploaded at the bottom of the page and on Seesaw if you would like to come back and have another look.

Please continue draft writing your introduction. Please use your plan and research facts and then read over your paragraph to check spellings and that your sentences make sense. If you wish to bring your draft paragraph to the Teams session, there will be an opportunity for you to ask any questions about our non-chronological report writing.

If you are unable to join the group Teams session, please upload your responses to the English task on Seesaw. Thank you.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Please upload your responses to the newsround task on Seesaw. Thank you.

Science

In science, we are continuing our topic all about light.

Please start today's lesson by watching the video and completing the activities from Oak National Academy. We will be exploring how we can see objects. You can go to the lesson by clicking HERE.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Please upload any completed science work onto the task on Seesaw. Thank you.

Geography

If you would like a recap, you can watch the BBC video that we looked at last week. Click HERE to go to the video.

Please start the lesson by watching THIS VIDEO all about the different climate zones.

Please ask an adult before clicking on any links.

Can you see which climate zone Antarctica is in?

Can you see which climate zone the United Kingdom (UK) is in?

Today we are going to be comparing the climate and temperature in the UK with the climate and temperature in Antarctica.

First, please read through the information document uploaded at the bottom of the page. Please use this and the information from the video to complete the fact sheet for both Antarctica and for the United Kingdom.

Please upload your responses to the Geography task on Seesaw. Thank you.
