Good morning everyone! Click on the dragon for our morning message.

Today, we are drawing pictograms. Watch this video to find out more.

Thank you for your tally work that you sent on Seesaw. You all did really well. Answer the questions on the Wednesday Maths Pictograms in the files below or on Seesaw.

Read the 'Motte and Bailey Castles' reading comprehension and choose a set of questions to answer. You don't have to finish this today but please send it to me by the end of Friday, through Seesaw, thank you.

Over the next few days, we are going to retell the story of Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters. We are going to practise skills we already have and learn some new ones along the way. Today, we sequence the story and practise proper nouns with capital letters. Practise skills using 'Proper Nouns' in the files below. Click on    Nyasha to watch me sort nouns and proper nouns. Please send a photograph of your sentences via the English link on Seesaw, thank you.

Remember to read to a grown up for 20 mins. Have you found your next book for Guided Reading on

Practise your split digraph a-e spellings, until you are confident.

Continuing with our branching databases, let’s make them trickier. Choose all the aliens to sort, then think of questions to separate them. Listen to the sound buttons in the ‘Aliens Branching Database’ for help.

Today, we start our tour of the UK. We are off to Cardiff this afternoon to look at the castle. You will find out what kind of castle it is and you will be able to recognise some of the features from your reading comprehension. Do you know the national flower of Wales? Use the 'Cardiff Castle' PowerPoint to guide your learning.
